A collection of publicly projected dance films and wheat-pasted images

How lonely sits the city is a collection of dance films and photographs set in and displayed publicly around Los Angeles, CA. The films and photographs utilize movement as a physical language to share the inner landscapes of black identifying dancers who take on angelic-like characters. The work is formed publicly in historically black neighborhoods; interweaving personal and historical histories. The first edition is being formed in Los Angeles, CA.
